The banks are bracing themselves for losing millions of pounds of ISA savings as the Government are still on track for allowing peer to peer lending returns as part of your ISA allowance.
We at FPML Alternatives have been highlighting the benefits of the higher returns that are available from alternative investments compared to that which the Banks offer.
The Government have now started the consultation period for the easing of ISA regulations that could see peer to peer lending falling within permissible ISA savings even though they are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme in exactly the same way as alternative investments fall outside of the scheme.
